A directory for Kenai Peninsula fishing, hunting & lodging businesses A division of Annie's Action AI

Free to join · Kenai Peninsula

Visitors ask AI first. Make sure it says your name.

Kenai River Guide is a directory of the fishing guides, charter captains, hunting outfitters, lodges and support businesses that actually work this peninsula — published in a format people and AI assistants can both read.

What a free listing carries

  • Your services, waters and seasons as explicit fields
  • Towns and ZIP codes you actually serve
  • Licenses and credentials, stated plainly
  • Your own phone, email and site — inquiries go to you
  • Indexed in our sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt
  • No cost, no card, no commission — ever

The shift

Trip planning moved. Most operators' web presence didn't.

A visitor planning an Alaska trip used to open ten links and start calling. Now a lot of them ask an assistant — and get one to three names back. The businesses in that answer get the call.

AI working against you

  • Booking platforms out-structure you, so their pages get quoted instead of yours
  • Your services live in prose and photo captions a machine can't parse
  • Your seasons, waters and boat details aren't written down anywhere explicit
  • A directory you don't control decides how you're described

AI working for you

  • Your specialties, waters, seasons and service areas published as structured fields
  • One canonical page per business, kept current
  • Question-shaped answers about your trips, written the way people ask
  • Inquiries land with you — we don't resell them or take a cut

What you get

A free profile built to be read — by people and by machines

AI-ready business profile

We write and publish your page with schema.org markup describing what you run, where, and when.

Answer-engine optimization

Structured data, clean canonicals, an llms.txt index and question-shaped content assistants can quote.

Local service areas

Your towns and ZIP codes stated explicitly — Soldotna, Kenai, Sterling, Kasilof, Cooper Landing and the rest.

Direct inquiry capture

Questions come to you with the context the visitor typed. No auction, no resale, no commission.

Coverage

Kenai Peninsula first, because that's where we started

The peninsula is where the guiding, the lodges and the visiting traffic concentrate. Nothing about the approach is Kenai-specific — every Alaska region has operators being out-structured by platforms. This is just the one we built first.

Straight answers

Before you ask

Do you take bookings or a cut of my trips?

No. We are a directory and a marketing company — not a booking platform, not a charter operation, and not a broker. We never handle a reservation, a deposit, or a percentage of what you charge. Visitors contact you directly and you run your business the way you always have.

Can you guarantee an AI assistant will recommend me?

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. Assistants change how they source answers, and no one outside those companies controls what gets cited. What we can do is publish your information in the structured, machine-legible form that gives it a fair chance — and keep it current.

What does a listing cost?

Nothing. The starter listing is free to join and stays free — no card, no trial, no commission on anything you book. A directory is worth nothing until the local trade is actually in it, so the listing is the part we give away. We earn when a business separately decides it wants a full website, search and answer-engine work, social or advertising from Annie's Action AI — and that is never a condition of being listed.

What if I already have a website?

Good — your listing points at it. If the site is dated or hard for a machine to read, Annie's Action AI builds sites too, but that's a separate conversation and not a condition of being listed.

Who is Annie's Action AI?

The parent company. Annie's Action AI builds websites, social media and advertising for small businesses using practical AI. Kenai River Guide is its Alaska fishing and hunting division, the same way Go Denver Homes is its Denver real estate division. More about Annie's.

I'm a visitor, not a business. Can you book my trip?

We can't — and we wouldn't want to. Browse the directory, read what each operator actually does, and call them. You'll get a better trip talking to the person running the boat.

Run a fishing, hunting or lodging business on the Kenai? List it free.

Tell us what you run and where. We'll build the profile, mark it up, and show it to you before anything goes live.

Turning AI into Action

Kenai River Guide is a division of Annie's Action AI

Annie's Action AI builds websites, social media and advertising for small businesses using practical AI — not theatre. The directory is where we start; full sites, search and answer-engine optimization, social posting and paid media are what we do next for the businesses that want them.
